What is the duration of the trips purchased before the pandemic? The Association of Tour Operators of Russia
The trip on the ticket purchased before the pandemic can be postponed for any period until the end of 2023.
Maya Lomidze, executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), told the radio station “Moscow Speaks”: “By the end of 2023, you should either indicate your desire (for example, fly if the country is open and the airline flies), or a refund ...”.
It is noted that more than 2 million Russians who purchased vacation permits in 2020 were forced to postpone the trip.
On July 22, Rosturizm said that tour operators reduced the amount of debt to tourists, whom they could not send to rest in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, more than six times, to 7 billion rubles. By the end of this year, this figure will be reduced by another 3 billion rubles. Now part of the obligations falls on the still inaccessible states of Southeast Asia, China and Europe.
