The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) reports that “Four major tour operators – Intourist, TEZ Tour, Anex Tour and Biblio-Globus – Alanya enjoys the greatest demand” due to the budget cost of hotels.
ATOR noted that after quarantine restrictions, when Russians lost income, the price of rest has become the main factor - tourists are not stopped by a longer, compared to other resorts of the Antalya coast, transfer from Antalya airport.
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia reports that the tour operator Anex Tour until the end of August in first place in sales Alanya (27%), then Side (26%), Kemer and Belek. TEZ Tour is also led by Alanya – it accounts for 32% of the total number of tourists on the destination, Kemer in second place (28%), Belek in third (21%). In the company "Intourist" most popular tours in Alanya (20%), Kemer and Side share the second place (15% each), the third with 10% - Belek.
In Alanya, a package tour with departure in August is sold, the hotel 3 * first line and meals "all inclusive" - 34.5-38 thousand rubles for two (flight, accommodation, meals, transfer, insurance), to the hotel 5 * - from 48.5 thousand for two.
Some tour operators demand for Turkish resorts is more or less evenly distributed. Pegasus Touristik Kemer, Antalya + Belek, Side and Alanya took almost equal shares of the tourist flow - 25% each.
At TUI Russia, the situation is different - tourists choose hotels according to the concepts of Fun&Sun (family vacation), Day&Night Connected (for young and active), Smart (a reasonable approach to rest). The most popular tours in Side, Kemer, Alanya, Belek.
The Association of Tour Operators believes that the Turkish side had other expectations - "... there predicted that Kemer at the end of the summer season will take a share of 40-45% of the tourist flow to the province of Antalya. This was attributed to a large number of open hotels ... if this result is achieved, it will be at the expense of German tourists, not Russians.
