When will Moscow return to normal life? Forecast Sergei Sobyanin
Moscow will be able to return to normal life by May, but much will depend on how actively citizens will be vaccinated. This forecast is made by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.
"My forecast was - this is May," the mayor said live on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
C. Sobyanin is sure that much in the return of the capital to normal life, as before the pandemic, "will depend on how actively citizens will be vaccinated."
According to the mayor, the mass vaccination campaign will help the capital to return to its usual rhythm. I think that in February-March, the volume of vaccine production will be large on an industrial scale, in sufficient quantities. And then everything will depend on the desire, on the understanding of the situation by the citizens themselves”.
According to him, the number of Muscovites vaccinated from COVID-19, reached 140 thousand people.
The mayor of the capital added that the last two days in Moscow “shattered all records” for the registration for the vaccination against COVID-19: if before the New Year, 7-8 thousand records were produced per day, now this number has increased to 22-24 thousand.
