When do travelers start planning their holidays?
Specialists of the online service Tutu talked with 1,678 users and found that only one in seven respondents thinks about a trip in advance – they have already bought tickets and booked hotels for 2021.
For six months, 19% of respondents are preparing for vacation, the same number plan a tour for three months or six months.
Every tenth begins to follow the offers of airlines and hotels for 2-3 months, the same – do it two or three weeks before departure.
One in five tourists (18%) reported that they do not spend time planning and choose a holiday destination at the last minute.
Analysis of booking data by users of the service showed that they most often buy tickets for the summer shortly before departure - a few days or weeks. In April and May, 20% of travelers pay for travel documents. By the end of March, the flight was purchased from only 10% of respondents.
