Cuba cancels certificates and tests for organized tourists from Russia

Cuba has simplified the conditions of entry for organized tourists from Russia: our compatriots are free to enter the country.

Cuban aviation authorities sent a circular to Russian airlines on changing the rules of arrival in the country.

By the decision of the Ministry of Health of Cuba of January 5, "package" tourists (that is, traveling through tour operators and travel agents) from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Canada, Russia are exempt from the mandatory submission of vaccination certificates and certificates with negative results of PCR tests for COVID-19 at the entrance.

Of the mandatory requirements for traveling to Cuba, the Russians have to fill out the electronic form D'Viajeros before departure. Those who did not have time to do this before departure will be able to fill out a questionnaire in the country.

That is, when entering Cuba, Russians will not require documents confirming the absence of a covid, tests are not needed in hotels during check-in and rest.

The decision to relax the rules of entry for tourists is due to the improvement of the epidemiological situation in Cuba and the high vaccination coverage of the population (more than 90% of the population was vaccinated).

If all Russian airlines bring their rules in accordance with the new rules of entry to Cuba, this destination in 2022, given the very loyal to the Russian pricing policy of Cuban hoteliers, will see an increase in tourist flow from our country.
