Morocco to open for international passenger flights on February 7

Morocco will reopen its airspace on February 7 after a two-month hiatus due to the coronavirus situation.

The MAP agency, citing a government statement, said the decision was made because of the commission's recommendations and taking into account the development of the epidemiological situation.

Experts are studying the measures that will be taken at the border points, details will be announced later.

Since November 29, all direct passenger flights to and from Morocco have stopped due to the spread of the omicron strain. The ban has been repeatedly extended.
