The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development will support the tourism industry of Crimea

Russian President Vladimir Putin called on Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov to provide financial support to the tourism sector of the Crimean Peninsula and Sevastopol.

At the meeting on socio-economic development of Crimea and Sevastopol, Minister of Economic Developmentsuggestedto allocate income from the sale of foreign assets to support the tourist industry of Crimea.

As the President noted, the funds from the sale of foreign assets can be used for other purposes at the discretion of the Ministry of Finance. In general, it would be good, of course, to support the industry, Putin said.
