Russia is interested in the restoration of regular flights with resorts Egypt. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with Al-Ahram.
According to the minister, charter flights from Russia to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada can be resumed in the near future.

According to Lavrov, relations between Egypt and Russia are developing in many directions: in March 2021, consultations of the deputy ministers of the Foreign Ministry of the two countries on European issues and on the interaction of the parties in the UN were held in Cairo.
