The Minister of Economic Development of the country Maxim Reshetnikov said that the cost of living in Russian hotels will increase in July 2023 to an average of 15% compared to the same period in 2022.
The average price tag for accommodation in a 3-star hotel will be about 4.7 thousand rubles.
“Four-to-five-star hotels have average price increases of 15%. This is taking into account the shortage of the premium segment and taking into account the fact that wealthy tourists often begin to choose a holiday in Russia.”
According to statistics, in March 2023, the increase in the cost of rooms in such hotels was 8% compared to 2022.
The Minister noted that the cost of air tickets for flights in Russia will be higher by 10%.
