Named the most expensive tours abroad in 2020
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia has published a rating of the most expensive foreign trips purchased in 2020.
The first five places went to the tours. Maldives.
In fifth place is a 9-day tour for a family of four adults and two children (8.1 million RUB). For this money, vacationers received a two-room suite, the opportunity to use a private pool, meals according to the “full board” scheme.
Fourth place in the 19-day New Year tour for two (8.8 million RUB). The cost per person was approximately 4.4 million RUB, and on this indicator, the trip holds the first place. The meal included breakfast.
The tour in the third position was bought by a family of 6 people (11.4 million RUB). Its duration is 21 days. The amount included: business-class air travel, service in the VIP lounge of the airport, transfers by seaplane and half board.
The second line is the 24-day New Year tour for a family of 10 people (23 million RUB). Tourists expected accommodation in exclusive rooms, breakfast, festive dinners, transfer by seaplane, VIP meeting at the airport. Air travel was not included in the cost of the trip: the family traveled to the islands on a personal business jet.
The leader is a 14-day New Year tour for 9 people (25.7 million RUB). This amount included a transfer on a branded seaplane, accommodation in the villas of an elite hotel, meals “half board”, exclusive services and a family dinner. The flight was also paid separately.
