Problems with Natalie Tours and Aurora BG. What should tourists do?
Tour operator "Aurora BG" and the oldest company "Natalie Tours" in recent days announced the cancellation of charters. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia reports on what should be done to customers of travel firms that have reduced their charter programs.
Tourists in Russia are required to prepare an application for a refund in any form. As a reason to indicate “due to the failure of the tour operator to fulfill obligations and the inability to use the paid tour”. The application must be given to the travel agent, whose duties include communication with the tour operator and receiving funds from him for failed tours.
The average response time to treatment is about two weeks. The money will be returned to the current account of the travel agent, who will then carry out their return.
If the cancellation caught travelers abroad, you need to check the availability and issuance of tickets – even for regular flights, this is done by booking or ticket number on the airline’s website or by phone.
In case of difficulties with accommodation, you need to prepare a confirmation of all costs - repayment of accommodation, air tickets, etc. After returning to Russia, you need to write an application for a refund and add copies of payment documents to it.
Tourists, in addition to the cost of the tour, if it did not occur, and reimbursement of expenses, if the tour took place, but people repaid for the services, can claim a refund for the missing tickets from home to the place of departure for vacation (if travelers from the region flew to rest from the capital).
