In her telegram channel, Zarina Doguzova stressed that "in the current difficult conditions, Rostourism will strive for the sustainable work of the industry and do its utmost to support millions of its employees, as well as preserve all programs."
The tourist cashback program was launched in 2020 to support the tourism industry, which has been hit by the coronavirus pandemic. Russians bought tours in Russia and accommodation in hotels from tour operators and hoteliers registered in the program with a cashback of up to 20%, but not more than 20 thousand rubles. In 2021, tours with cashback were bought by 1.7 million Russians, in 2022 - about 3 million.
