Foreigners must pass the COVID-19 test no earlier than three days before arriving in Russia.

The document enters into force on July 25 this year. The new rules apply to citizens of all states, including Belarus, who enter Russia from the territories of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) through air checkpoints.

From September 1, 2021, the order will be valid at the entrance from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The rules will not apply to tourists who enter Russia from third countries through the territories of the EAEU member states in transit or with a short stop. However, they should also have a certificate with the results of a negative PCR test for coronavirus.

The application “Travel without COVID-19” was created to confirm the negative results of tests for coronavirus when crossing the border of the Russian Federation at certain checkpoints.

The program contains information on sanitary and epidemiological measures in force in a particular EAEU country. The application provides a list of verified laboratories, you can save the results of research and QR codes.
