Rospotrebnadzor plans to cancel repeated tests for tourists
Rospotrebnadzor plans to cancel retesting for Russians who returned from abroad who have undergone a full course of vaccination or have antibodies after suffering coronavirus.
This initiative follows from the draft amendments to the current order of the department, which is posted on the official government portal.
In accordance with the current document, in five calendar days from the date of arrival in the territory of the Russian Federation, Russians must twice do PCR tests for covid and post information about the results on the public services portal (EPGU).
The interval between the first and repeated laboratory examination should be no more than a day. Before receiving the results of both tests, you must observe the isolation regime at the place of residence.
“If there is a completed course of vaccination against COVID-19 or acquired immunity as a result of the disease, a two-fold laboratory study by PCR is not required. At the same time, it is mandatory to place information on the availability of vaccination against COVID-19 or the results of the study for the presence of IgG immunoglobulins for COVID-19 in the range of positive reference values in relation to the test system used in conducting this study, the draft amendments to the current order of Rospotrebnadzor are stated.
Rospotrebnadzor introduced double testing for coronavirus for returnees from abroad on May 1, and Russians began to complain that the measure is very expensive.
