Deputy head of the Ministry of economic development Dmitry Vakhrukov said that the mechanisms of electronic visa and visa-free group exchanges China and Iran For 10 months from the beginning of their operation, 400 thousand tourists were able to come to Russia.
In the third or fourth quarter of this year, we have the task of signing such a visa-free group agreement with India and, according to our estimates, we have already moved far enough to abolish visas with Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Malaysia, Myanmar. We will sign a number of agreements before the end of this year.”
Within the framework of visa-free group travel agreements with China and Iran, tourists from these countries and Russians can make mutual tours on group visas. Such trips should be organized by tour operators included in the lists of authorized departments.
