How many trips are expected in Russia in the summer?
The tourist flow in Russia from June to August 2024 may exceed 44 million trips. Tour operators have already implemented about 60% of summer tours around the country.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko at a meeting in the government said: “We predict that over the three summer months, tourists will make more than 44 million trips around the country, which is almost 50% of the total annual volume of 90 million.”
According to him, by June, about 60% of summer tours around the country were implemented, most of them to the south of Russia. At the same time, the average booking depth increased to one to three months before arrival.

“I want to note that systematic work, including with Russian Railways, allowed this year to increase the depth of booking to 90 days from 45,” Chernyshenko added.
