Compiled top 10 destinations for an independent traveler
The Russian State University of Tourism and Service (RGUTIS) named the top 10 destinations for an independent traveler in Russia.
Alexander Fedulin, the rector of the university at a press conference in the Izvestia MIC, named the directions that entered the top: “Golden Ring”, “Golden Ring of the Bosporan Kingdom”, “Imperial Route”, “Estate Ring”, “Touristroutes in the Crimea”.
Also in the ranking of tourist routes in the Kaliningrad and Samara regions, Primorsky Krai, the Urals, the Caucasus.
According to the research of RSUTIS specialists, 83.3% of the experts surveyed plan to increase the tourist flow in domestic tourism in 2021 compared to 2019. At the same time, the cultural and cognitive form of the tourism industry will be actively developed.
Alexander Fedulin believes that after the pandemic, personal vehicles will come to the first place as transport for travel, and allowed the emergence of new forms of tourism, when “People will ... take a guide on a trip and maintenance staff.”
