Turkey is developing a system of deposit cards for Russians
The Turkish newspaper Sabah writes that the country is going to launch a system of deposit cards for travelers from Russia.
Tourism specialists are working on a project similar to a “ticket card”, which Russian tourists will be able to pay both when buying a tour package to Turkey and domestically – use in restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues.
The head of Rostourism, Zarina Doguzova, adds that foreign partners themselves decide whether to accept Mir cards.
The main flow of tourists arrives in Turkey from May to September. Until September of this year, the Mir card could be used to pay and withdraw cash at the terminals of five banks in the country.
