Are tourists in Russia more likely to save on vacation?
Experts of the travel industry asked a number of questions of 1215 users, and the answers were compared with similar ones for 2022. For two years, tourists began to save more on vacation.
The number of respondents traveling during high season decreased from 65 to 52 percent. Also, the number of those who are ready to go on a trip during the New Year or May holidays, when prices rise, decreased from 58 to 51%.
Giving up a number of conveniences is also a way to save money. Two years ago, 79 percent of those surveyed could increase their hotel costs if it was near the sea. This year, the share of such tourists is 64%.
From 64 to 62% fell the number of ready a little – a couple of thousand rubles a day – to pay for a hotel of a higher level. But the increase in the category of rooms, for example, from the standard for luxury, is interesting to half of the vacationers. A couple of years ago, 34% of users allowed such spending.
78% of tourists are ready to pay for a room with a balcony, which is 18% more than in 2022. Having a minibar is considered mandatory by 21% of travelers, which is three percent more than two years ago.
For two years, the number of holidaymakers who choose all-inclusive hotels (72%) and pay attention to the view from the window (62%) has hardly changed. 64% of respondents still use the services of a guide.
