Tver officially entered the route "Golden Ring of Russia"
Twerk. Officially became part of the national tourist route "Golden Ring of Russia". This was announced by the acting governor Vitaly Korolev - he announced the news at the opening ceremony of the City Day and shared his joy in the social network "Max": "It's done! Our beloved Tver is now officially on the famous national route Golden Ring of Russia! This historic decision, which we have long sought and waited for, has already been made at the federal level. It was a gift to all of us!
According to Korolev, residents warmly received this news. The acting governor stressed that the new status is not just an impetus for tourism, but also a serious step towards the development of the economy, modernization of infrastructure and improving the quality of life in the city.
The Golden Ring of Russia tourist route will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2027. It unites ancient cities of North-Eastern Russia, famous for monuments of architecture, history and culture. Prior to the inclusion of Tver, nine cities were officially listed: Sergiev Posad, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov the Great, Uglich, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Suzdal, Vladimir and Yaroslavl (the latter is considered the capital of the route).
