Recognizable and promising tourist routes in Russia will have the status of national
The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports that the government approved the rules for selecting the most important and promising tourist routes.
The regulations will come into force on July 1, 2022.
" . To claim the status of national will be able as the current routes, and completely new. They will be selected at the request of the regions. This work will be carried out by an expert council, which will include representatives of Rostourism and tourism business. Also, the Council may include representatives of non-profit organizations in the field of culture, history, science, local history, art history.”
The rules also state that national routes can pass through the territory of several regions and have certain topics, for example, cultural, cognitive, rural, environmental, gastronomic, industrial, scientific. At the same time, national routes must have a navigation system, tourist maps, guidebooks and souvenirs.
The decision will be made on the basis of the examination of documents and face-to-face protection of the project. The main requirement is to meet the criteria, for example, be promising and recognizable.
There should be at least one significant object on the route: from the UNESCO list, monuments of history and culture of federal significance, natural sites, monuments of Russian architecture, places associated with important events in Russian history, with the lives of outstanding people.
