The border service of the FSB of Russia published a list of foreign countries, where our citizens went most often in the first half of 2021.
About 1 million 779 thousand tourist trips were made abroad, of which almost half - 806.2 thousand - to Turkey.
In the UAE for the first 6 months of 2021, 294.4 thousand Russians visited, in Cyprus - 172.6 thousand, in Egypt - 115.5 thousand, in the Maldives - 91.9 thousand.
The top ten also included Tanzania (85.3 thousand tourists), Cuba (71.6 thousand), Serbia (35.6 thousand), Greece (32.6 thousand) and Tunisia (29 thousand).
Compared to the first half of 2019, the tourist flow abroad decreased by almost 85%.
