In which country did the tourist flow from Russia grow?
Director of the Association "Turpomoshch" Alexander Osaulenko said that by the end of the year the growth of the flow of Russian tourists to Abkhazia will be about 30%.
The flow of Russians could be more, but it was stopped by rising prices for vacations in the republic. In 2020, the average check was 30 thousand rubles, in 2021 - 41 thousand rubles, this year - 59 thousand rubles. “The growth is far from 10%, and this indicator slowed down the Russian tourist,” Osaulenko said.
Abkhazia has all the opportunities to be an all-season destination due to the sanatorium and resort component.
