In Russian Railways inform about new rules in trains from September
Russian Railways told the details of the new rules of travel on long-distance trains from September 2023.
- The document includes a provision on the obligation to comply with transport security requirements: now passengers who refused to undergo inspection at the entrance to the stations will not be allowed to travel.
- Russian Railways was allowed to use a passport and birth certificate for 90 days after their expiration.
- The trains were banned from playing musical instruments and using “sound reinforcement devices”, except for headphones and hearing aids.
- “Small dogs without a cage or container can only be transported according to the rules for large dogs, that is, on the floor of the separate compartment in which they are transported, in muzzles, with a leash and under the control of the owner.”
These rules also announce the rights of passengers of the upper shelves to sit at a table near the lower shelf for meals - for 30 minutes in the morning and evening, as well as for an hour at lunch;
- a clear list of documents for the purchase of tickets for long-distance trains;
- A ban was announced to disembark a stowaway passenger under the age of 16 from the train - controllers or train crew employees must transfer it to representatives of the internal affairs bodies.
