Vladivostok - Laos: charters are planned
Airline iFly plans to launch direct charter flights from Vladivostok capital laos Vientiane.
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia reports that "Despite the absence of seaside resorts, this is a very interesting excursion destination with opportunities for outdoor activities. More importantly, however, the capital of Laos, Vientiane, is seen as a transportation hub from which Russians can be transported to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.
Honorary Consul of Laos in Vladivostok Alexander Virich said that the launch of the flight program is scheduled for late August - early September. The first phase will be operated four times a week by Airbus 330. The journey time will be five hours.
Representatives of the travel industry believe that charter flights will be in demand mainly among residents of the Far East. Muscovites such a route is likely not very interesting - because of the duration of the flight and a large number of transfers.
