The authorities urged Russians to plan a summer vacation inside the country
The Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko believes that Russians should plan summer holidays in 2021 in Russia, and go to Europe and other countries will be difficult because of the unstable situation with the coronavirus infection.
It is possible and necessary to plan vacations in Russia. And there is no need to fear that some borders will close or some flights will be canceled.”
Speaking about the prospects for Russians to go on vacation abroad, the speaker stressed that the situation here does not depend on the Russian authorities.
“With the further improvement of the pandemic situation, we will be ready to open flights to new destinations, but – as you know, this is a bilateral decision – only where other countries will be ready to receive our citizens. And we see that the situation in Europe, and not only in Europe, is developing extremely difficult.
