Catholic Easter

EasterThe Easter holiday in the Netherlands begins on Friday, when short working hours are declared throughout the country and all official institutions are closed, and continues until Monday.

Churches for Easter are richly decorated with white flowers. At the Passover Mass, accompanied by divine music, everyone comes - from small to great. After the service, families go to the festive dinner home or to visit: to neighbors, friends, relatives.

Sunday is the 1st Easter day, Monday is the 2nd Easter day, most shops are not open at this time.

Easter is the first big spring holiday that marks the arrival of spring.
