Description:
Amsterdam + treat in the Fisherman's Village Volendam.
Amsterdam-Amsterdam!!!
It is so diverse: it has a depraved sensational street of “red lights” and the Holy Monastery of Beginage; it is rich in a huge array of museums that amaze connoisseurs with a collection of masterpieces; a unique architectural collection of the late Dutch Renaissance preserved under the open sky and a wide range of legal drugs; legal prostitution; euthanasia, same-sex marriages and of course tulips.
Amsterdam is a lush glossy Baroque facades and barracks in the form of dusty barges on the canals; taxi drivers in elegant suits on Tesla cars worth more than a hundred thousand euros, they glide silently through the city delivering businessmen and tourists; and at the same time tens of thousands of obsessive cyclists rushing in the rain and absorbing something from glass jars on the go, typing messages while in motion and putting a note to like on social networks.
In Amsterdam either fall in love at first sight, inhale, or he does not like once and for all.
It is not necessary to judge Holland hastily, it is only a million inhabitants of the seventeen million inhabitants of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Description of the route through the capital Amsterdam.

Next, we will have a view of the divine Basilica of St. Nicholas, an incomparable Chinese floating restaurant, the beginning of the last century, we will go deep into the incomparable historical center, we will have a view of the wonderfully protruding tower of the maritime customs of the thirteenth century, we will walk along the picturesque facades, diving into the seductive street of the “red lights”, look at the amazing church of Oude Kerk, and find ourselves in the chicre main square of the Dutch style, after a charming museum in the fascination, we will be amazeded in the wonderful neighborhood.
After, we go to explore the dizzying Rebrant Square, admire the incomparable “Night Watch”. And at the end of an amazing tour, we will stop at the wondrous Niumarkt Square with a lost view of the Gothic castle.
In turn, I want to tell you a little about the fabulous Fishing Village Volendam, where we will go for lunch.
It is located in the north - its beautiful look is pleasantly remembered for a long time.
These are decorative houses along quaint narrow streets, glittering with an abundance of shops, restaurants, coastal eateries with Dutch herring, local fat eel and the rest of the delights of fresh sea catch - and the whole picture view looks at the multi-valued lake, which most recently was part of the former sea bay of northern Holland.
Volendam, in the past, is an ordinary Dutch fishing village in which everyone knew each other, greeted each other affably, valued friendship and kindness, avoiding envy and meanness. This is the place from which the men left for the North Sea in fishing boats in the hope of a good catch, wishing prosperity to their families, driven by the mighty power of child love, and their lovely wives painstakingly weaved lace with the curtains open wide ... gusts of wind beat through the windows with rain, and the children sang cozy in small Dutch cribs.
And when the ships returned, each time it was a happy holiday: the wives wore festive wide striped dresses, and whimsical lace caps with starched edges upwards. They stood on the pier, holding firmly by the hand, combed, neat children, staring tensely into the distance of the smoky harbor.
And so it has been for centuries... joys and sorrows, succeeding each other in the slow-moving melody of the industrious life of the Dutch provinces, transforming the settlements on the swamps into rich, prosperous cities, living according to their own equal laws, transmitted traditions, becoming a unique nation of creators, accumulators, invincible by painful wars and destructive floods, continuing to be what they are, increasing their Kingdom not by wars, but by titanic labor, taking away land from the sea, generating and throwing into the world brilliant ideas, creating prosperity in terms of the growth of the population.
How will our tour of the fishing village Volendam go?
We will leave our transport in a guarded parking lot, and then follow the charming streets, enjoying the contemplation, which came to the painters from Amsterdam, these Dutch views are very recognizable in the works of outstanding Dutch landscape painters. Next, we can look at the photo salon, where they dress up in local traditional clothes for funny photos. After that, if it will be a warm season, you can go on an hour trip on a lake pleasure ship, then make a tasting of cheeses, where you can clearly tell all the secrets of cheesemakers, warmly taste Dutch herring and eel.
