The Hague, Maurzhaus Museum, Lauman Museum, Madurodam and the North Sea (price including a large car)

This excursion to the political center of the Netherlands is the city of The Hague, which is only 50 km from Amsterdam.

The Hague is located on the coast of the North Sea. This is a city of aristocrats and diplomats with chic shopping streets, pleasant cafes and a lot of tourist attractions.

In The Hague, we will see the Royal Palace of Nordeinde, the Palace of Peace, similar to a fairy-tale castle, the Neo-Gothic complex of parliament - Bienhoff, around the castle of the Dutch Counts - Riddersal of the 13th century. In Binnenhof in one of the towers above the court pond is the office of the Prime Minister. Then we will pass along the wide shady boulevard Lange Forhout, lined with modern sculpture (in the summer months), where the chic Des Indes Hotel is also located - a place where important diplomats and businessmen meet, the famous Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova died here in 1931.

Mauritshaus, according to many visitors and enthusiastic reviews of my guests, is the most interesting painting museum in the Netherlands. Its collection consists of many unique paintings of the Golden Period of classical Dutch fine art.

You can see among other masterpieces “Girl with a Pearl Earring” and “View of Delft” by Jan Vermeer. Rembrandt's farewell self-portrait and the famous "Dr. Tulip's Anatomical Lesson", remarkable works by Rubens, Van Dyck, Frans Hals and the cheerful Ian Stein. All this, like a mirror of history, will immerse you in the spirit of that time and teach you to understand the character and worldview of the inhabitants of the Netherlands. I guarantee you will like it even if you are far from the subject. The duration of the visit is about 1 hour.

MADURODAM – “Holland in Miniature” will present 350 architectural monuments and attractions on a scale of 1:25. You will have the opportunity to see all the main tourist attractions of all the provinces of the Netherlands in just an hour. It is the world’s first mini-park representing the whole country.

Here everything lives: bridges, divorcing, floodgates open, at the airport planes fly to the runway, cars rush on the freeways, the cathedral clock beats time, the shipyard lowers the ship into the water, and the king comes in a golden carriage to Parliament. The duration of the visit is about 1 hour.

The Lauman Museum is the oldest collection of cars in the world. It is constantly updated and growing. Here you can trace the history from carriages and steam engines, to Formula 1 and many famous examples owned by celebrities and starred in famous films. Among other things, electric and hybrid specimens that are more than 100 years old are amazing!!! You'll see Sean Connery's Aston Martin from James Bond, Elvis Presley's Cadillac, Churchill's limo, cars from the movie The Godfather and more. The museum left a lasting impression and is usually liked by all visitors.
