Amsterdam

Giethoorn is a picturesque idyll

Description:

I'll ask you two questions:

1/ What Russian does not like to ride a boat?

2/ How to divide 169 bridges into 2,600 inhabitants?

Answer: we have to go to Giethoorn! Although the road is long (1.5 hours approximately), it is interesting to see Holland from the car window.

You will be rewarded with a complete village idyll! In the old part of the village there are no roads, so we will move by boat with an electric motor, stopping on the way at will. Each house is located on its own island. I'm going to tell you how this village came to be, how it lives, and ultimately, how do they take out the trash?

The village has two small museums, a jewelry and souvenir shop and an endless number of fantastic views, and asking for the camera.

You can also complete your trip with lunch at one of Giethhorn’s many restaurants.
