Walking sightseeing tour of Amsterdam with a cruise on the canal n
Description:
Amsterdam is very distinctive and unique. It is not like other capitals of Europe and the comparison with Venice in my opinion is not quite suitable either. After all, graceful channels with a length of more than a hundred kilometers and about ninety islands are all man-made. A cruise on a pleasure boat (lasting one hour) along the main canals and the Amstel River will leave a lasting impression. The city was not affected by the two world wars of the 20th century. Amsterdam’s Old Centre has more than 6,000 state-protected monument buildings. This is a city-museum, which should be thoroughly wandered on foot, stopping on bridges and photographing views that will remain in memory forever. However, I strongly recommend using a car tour, because of the opportunity to see more distant but equally interesting neighborhoods.
The tour can be accompanied by tastings of low-salted herring and smoked eel to the accompaniments of beer. It is not necessary, but many people like it! You can replace it with apple pie with coffee... or fresh oysters with wine. All this along the way and unobtrusively integrates into Amsterdam life.
During the tour, I will advise you on authentic tasty restaurants, beer and breweries; discuss Amsterdam clubs and coffee shops; talk about what to do in the evening depending on your interests, which museums and exhibitions to visit. Of course, I will advise you where else to go in the Netherlands and Belgium, so that you have many wonderful memories of your stay.
