Volendam, sea delicacies, Zaanse Schans with cheese tasting, mills and wooden shoes

Charming trip with gastronomic immersion in provincial delicacies.

We will visit the cheese factory and try many different types of cheese, see the operating windmills, visit one of them and see how ancient shoes are made in the workshop-museum in the village of Zanse Schans. We taste a little salted Dutch herring and smoked eel in the fishing town of Volendam on the bay. Stroll through the small streets and promenade, sometimes reminiscent of theatrical scenery due to the old houses and locals who sometimes wear folk Dutch costumes.
