Kalverstraat is the most popular shopping and pedestrian street in Amsterdam. There are shops of popular world brands and almost no souvenir shops. It is located near Dam Square.
Kalverstraat is one of the first streets of old Amsterdam, where, in addition to shop windows, you can see many beautiful old houses. There are also two attractions – the courtyard of the Beguine sisters and the Amsterdam Museum, located in the medieval building of the former monastery.
