About the company:

The Cat Museum is a museum whose collection deals with cats. Here are collected paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings and posters of cats, as well as works of such famous artists as Pablo Picasso, Sal Meyer, Rembrandt and Toulouse Lautrec.

The museum occupies several rooms on the first floor of the building, where furniture and furnishings from the previous owners have been preserved. It was founded in 1990, in memory of the cat owner of the building John Piermont Morgan, named after the famous American banker. The collection provides a broader look at the role of cats in art and culture over the centuries. Cats have been a favorite theme of artists for decades, and many big names in the art world have produced impressive works on them. Here are collected paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings and posters of cats, as well as works of such famous artists as Pablo Picasso, Sal Meyer, Rembrandt and Toulouse Lautrec. The owner's cat itself is allocated a small corner.
