NEMO Museum
About the company:
The largest scientific museum in the Netherlands, designed by the most famous museum architect Renzo Piano. According to the creators of the museum, NEMO should talk about scientific facts and achievements in a simple and accessible form, thereby arousing interest in new knowledge and discoveries. The museum is designed mainly for schoolchildren: they regularly visit NEMO during the holidays.
The museum has 5 floors, on which the exhibits are located in terms of complexity. Below are various soap bubbles, centrifuges, mirrors. Above - games on knowledge of the laws of physics and chemistry. On the upper floors – everything for teenagers, up to the film about intimate relationships. At the same time, the floors of the museum are organized so that all the others are visible from any of them. This gives the impression of a single space.
Most of the exhibits are made by the NEMO Museum, and the purpose of these exhibits is to show the process, not the result. This is one of the few museums in the world where exhibits are not only possible, but also need to be touched to understand how the world works.
