Museum Evolon

Noord Brabantlaan 1A, 5652 LA Eindhoven, Netherlands

About the company:

The unconditional attraction of Eindhoven is the Evolion complex, which was built in 1966.

The complex is distinguished primarily by its futuristic design. It looks more like a flying saucer than a museum. The choice of the form was determined by the theme of this object – initially Evolion was considered as a museum of modern science and technology.

The huge building (height - 77 meters, length in the perimeter - 169 kilometers) has long attracted the attention of residents and guests of the city. However, over time, when such museums ceased to be a rarity and increasingly opened in other cities, Evolon lost its former glory, and in 1989 it was completely closed as a loss-making enterprise.

In 1998, it became a conference center.

Many travel reports mention the Evolon complex. This is really one of the most amazing buildings of Eindhoven. In 2020, it is planned to build a similar complex in The Hague.
