Ennemaburg Castle

Ennemaburg is located in the village of Midwolda, in the province of Groningen, in Holland. The first residential building here was built in the XIII or XIV century, and its owners for centuries were associated with peat mining, the deposit of which was nearby. The castle has been rebuilt several times, now it is a two-storey building with a garden around and magnificent lawns planted with flowers.

Nowadays, Ennemaburg has become a creative studio and gallery of the Dutch artist Maya Wildevour. Her bright colorful paintings decorated the walls of the house, the interior of the house is also made in screaming colors, which only enhances the impression of Maya’s work.
