Netherlands, Utrecht, Hilversumsestraatweg 14, 3744 KC Baarn.
Description:
Castle de Hug Wuurche was built in 1912 in the Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht, in the municipality of Baarn. Designed by architect Edward Coopers, it now serves as a hotel and conference room.
This magnificent building, made in red colors, on the left and right it is decorated with towers with triangular roofs. Around the castle is a vast forest that once belonged to Louise-Charlotte Rogers van Rosenburg. The forest was known as Hug Wuursche, which influenced the name of the castle.
In this three-story house lived Louise-Charlotte and her young husband Mogannes Adrianus van den Bosch. Near the castle are gardens designed by a landscape architect from Naarden, a pond occupying 1,500 meters of territory and hills.
Today, Hug Wuursche is a popular place, which has 18 rooms and six conference rooms, and also celebrates weddings.
