Valenburg is a castle located in the Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. It is located on a square island and surrounded by a flowering garden.

The first mention of Valenburg dates back to the XIII century. In the XVI century, a dungeon was created in the building. The tower rests on arches and corner columns, in 1550 a wing was added to it, in which people lived.

The castle succeeded many owners, the last of whom was Baron van Linden Sandenburg. He decided to demolish the tower and built a farm in its place. Despite this, in 1967 by the architect Antony Elias Kannemann, Valenburg was restored.
