Rodriguez Ballon is the international airport of Arequipa (Peru). It is one of the two main air hubs of Peru, along with Cusco Alejandro Velasco Astetete International Airport.
The length of the runway is 2980 meters. The airport is 2,562 meters above sea level. It cooperates with four airlines - Aerosur (Santa Cruz de la Sierra), LAN Airlines, LAN Per (Cusco, Juliaca, Lima) and TACA Peru (Lima).
Arequipa is home to two of the world’s deepest canyons, Colca Canyon and Cotahuasi Canyon.
