Monkey Island
Description:
The island of monkeys is called a small island in the Peruvian Amazon, which houses a scientific station that observes and studies monkeys. The station was opened in 1902 as Faustino Maldonado. In addition to the monkeys themselves, the island is also home to many colorful and large parrots.
Tourists come to this island to admire the beautiful nature, walk through the jungle, and also look at the cute monkeys, who are cared for by the staff of the nursery. You can also feed these cute creatures with grapes and candy. In the nursery, monkeys live in complete freedom - in the natural conditions of their habitat, and the enclosures go only to eat.
The research station is funded by the US and Spanish governments. For all tourists who arrived on the island, there is an entertainment program with the participation of tame and friendly monkeys and parrots.
