Cordillera Costa: a walk through the hills

Dear lovers of nature walks, this full-time tour is dedicated to those of you who do not have much time, but have a great desire to see the nature of the central region of Chile.

Without leaving far from Santiago, we can get into the forest, where only native trees of Chile grow, hear the singing of local birds (and with luck and see some of them), follow the route that leads us to the tops of the hills of the Cordillera Costa, the coastal line of low mountains, or hills, whose height reaches up to 2300 meters above sea level. Plants and animals endemics of these places are unique, there is a wild forest South American cat, a gray Andinian fox and even a puma. In the local forest, we can find many trees that are not found anywhere else on the planet except Chile: acacia, which are not found in Europe, medicinal plants such as boldo, and the like. In winter, this park is very green, in summer it is much drier, but it retains its beauty all year round. If you have physical fitness and are in great shape, take special trekking shoes for this walk and dress in comfortable clothes. An adventure awaits us: under certain weather conditions, we will literally be above the clouds.

If your fitness is not designed for long hikes, we can go through the part of the route that you are ready for, and there are many interesting things to see. The central region of Chile, much larger than Santiago, is a world with unique inhabitants. He's expecting you.
