Mother of God Fatima

Description:

Mother of God Fatima
Many years ago, on May 13, 1917, after Sunday Mass, three little shepherds, Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia, from Cova da Iria, near the small Portuguese town of Fatima, were grazing their sheep near their home. Suddenly a lightning flashed, and they decided that a thunderstorm was beginning. I had to hide the sheep somewhere.

At that moment, the image of the Most Holy Mother of God appeared to them, which, according to them, sparkled brighter than the sun. When the children told the adults, no one believed them, but the miracle was repeated on the 13th of each month until October.

The last and sixth event was on October 13, 1917, and 70,000 people had already observed it, including not only believers but also doubters and skeptics who had come to strengthen their unbelief.

The solar miracle of Fatima appeared to this huge crowd: the sun “danced” in circles across the sky, and then became completely dark for a few minutes before it returned to its place, although scientists of the time did not register any anomalies. And the next day the news spread throughout Portugal that several cripples of those who saw the Mother of God were miraculously healed.

When the temple was built on the site of the phenomenon in 1944, the sick and maimed began to come to it from all over Portugal. In a specially designated place next to the basilica, parishioners bring wax-made body parts (stomach, head, liver, legs...) in the hope of healing. According to Catholic tradition, the path to the temple and back the pilgrim must make on his knees.

The Virgin Mary gave three prophecies to her children. In the time since these events, the predictions of the Virgin Mary have come true more than once: the atheistic era of socialism began in Russia, the world shuddered from the horrors of World War II, the coalition of pro-communist states collapsed.

Amazing chronological chains are associated with the dates of the appearances of the Mother of God of Fatima.
Thus, the attempt on the life of Pope John Paul II occurred on the anniversary of her first appearance Fatima, even the hour and minutes coincided, and the miraculous healing of the Pope became another confirmation of the predictions of 1917.

Professor Crucitti, who operated on him, reported that a 9-millimeter bullet pierced the body of the Pope, improbably bypassing all vital organs, as if an invisible hand guided it; it passed within a few millimeters of the main aorta, the damage of which entails instant death.

“It was a miracle, and I know who to be grateful for it. One hand pointed the gun and the other hand changed the direction of the bullet, John Paul II said.

On March 25, 1984, at St. Peter’s Square in Rome, in front of the statue of the Mother of God brought from Fatima, John Paul II, in unity with the bishops of the whole world, dedicated Russia and all mankind to the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin, in fulfillment of the request of the Mother of God Fatima.
