The beaches of Estoril
Description:
The port city of Estoril, located on the shores of Cascais Bay, is part of the municipal district of Cascais and is located only 15 kilometers from Lisbon. The settlement of the territory of Estoril took place in ancient times. As a result of archaeological research, it was found that the first settlements appeared on this place in the Paleolithic era, that is, 4 thousand years ago.
In addition to the Paleolithic finds, evidence of the Roman era and Arab rule has been preserved. The city was an important trading port, and today the main source of income is the tourist business. And this is not surprising, because Estoril has a unique Atlantic climate, and it is deservedly called the sunniest city.
