The Church of the Holy Trinity in Fatima began to be built in 2004 according to the project of the Greek architect Alexandros Tombazis. Three years later, she opened her doors to the faithful. By the way, the completion of construction was timed to the 90th anniversary of the appearance of Our Lady Fatima by three young shepherds. She addressed children several times during 1917, predicting the coming World War II, the return of Soviet Russia to Christianity, and the assassination attempt on the Pope in 1981.

This church is among the largest in the world. Its internal area is 12,000 square meters and is designed for 9,000 believers.

In the basilica there are 5 chapels, about 50 confessional, there is also a cafe where believers can relax. The interior is decorated with a mosaic of hand-made tiles depicting Heavenly Jerusalem. There are also Bible verses on the walls in 23 languages.

The building itself was built low enough that it did not block the view of the old Baroque Fatima Basilica. You can get inside the Church of the Holy Trinity through one of the 13 doors - according to the number of those present at the Last Supper.
