Buddha Park

Buddha Park is located in Portugal, near Obidos, just a few kilometers south of this city. The Buddhist Park covers an area of almost 35 hectares and is a green area with a lake located in the center, the surface of which symbolizes peace and tranquility.

Visitors see Buddhas of different sizes, statues of Koi Pisces and dragons, lanterns and a terracotta army. Most of the collection of sculptures is located in a well-viewed space, and some of them are hidden among the trees to give visitors the opportunity to retire with them in silence.

In total, about 6,000 tons of marble and granite were used for buildings and sculptures. Visitors can walk among the statues and just relax on the grass, the golden Buddhas greet with a mysterious smile all passing along the solemn central staircase.
