Oh. Alushta Ghetto

Alushta is a resort city on the Black Sea.
The first mention of the city belongs to the VI century. Former names: Aluston and Lusta.

In honor of Alushta named mineral Alushtite (found in the Crimea and Belgium).

The climate in Alushta is close to the Mediterranean, summer is hot (average temperature + 23 s), winter is warm (average temperature + 3 s). The sea water temperature in summer reaches +26 C, +28 C, the sea near the coast almost never freezes in winter, the swimming season lasts from May to October.

The climate of Alushta is different from the climate of other resorts of Southern Crimea: the mountains are far from the sea, and the Angarsky and Kebit-Bogazsky passes pass the wind from the north, thanks to which the air is renewed and remains fresh.

Alushta is a balneological resort, it began to develop actively from the mid-twentieth century, when numerous sanatoriums, boarding houses and rest houses were built, in them a year-round rest is possible. The main methods of treatment are climate therapy, heliotherapy, thalassotherapy, aromatherapy and others. Mineral water is available from the sources of Savlukh-Su and other areas of the Crimean peninsula.

In recent decades, hotels and hotels of different price categories have opened in Alushta, you can also stay overnight in the private sector.

The beaches in Alushta are pebble, the sand is found in the resort area Professor's Corner. it should be borne in mind that in the Professor's Corner entrance to the sea is paid (a sun lounge is issued for rent, there is a shower and a cabin for changing clothes).

The main attractions: the terrarium aquarium, it is home to about 300 species of fish from around the world. In the vicinity of Alushta in the Crimean Nature Reserve is the highest mountain of the Crimea Roman-Kosh (1545 m), in its valleys live deer and roe deer. In Alushta there is a winery, there you can go to taste drinks.

Another interesting place in the vicinity of the resort is the most full-flowing Crimean waterfall Dzhur-Jur, its height is 15 meters. The snow-white rotunda on the embankment was considered a symbol of the resort in the Soviet Union and remains so to this day.
