Mount Demerji
Alushtinsky r-on, Crimea, Russia
Description:
Mount Demerdzhi is an amazing place where nature, as if having fun, heaped piles of stones in the hope of creating something grandiose.
Bizarre stone statues are found here at every step. You look at one side -- a woman's profile, you look around -- and a fantastic beast looks at you. What in science is called the “result of weathering”, in practice turns into a fabulous picture.
There are several options to reach Mount Demerdzhi in Crimea on your own.
First you need to be in the village of Luchistoye, the city of Alushta.
