Amur City Local History Museum

The Amur Museum has been operating since 1972. The museum has more than 14 thousand items on the history of the native city and region, Slavic and Nanai culture. The purposeful acquisition of museum collections is carried out.
The main activity of the museum is traditionally theatrical and thematic events, sightseeing tours and information programs, modern computer technologies are introduced and used (lectures, presentations, videos, illustrations and slides - films using multimedia equipment).
On the basis of the information base of the museum, lectures, consultations are held on the history, culture, nature of the Amur district and the Khabarovsk Territory as a whole.
In the window of the institution "Museum Window" exhibitions are presented annually for calendar, professional and festive dates. The exposition display of museum collections has been improved.

The museum accepts applications for review, thematic and theatrical excursions on historical local history, Slavic and Nanai culture, calendar holidays.
