Chukotka District Museum of Local History

The museum was founded in 1977 as a public museum. From 1979 to 1996, the museum was a branch of the Chukotka District Museum of Local History. Since 1996 - Chaunsky District Museum of Local History. The museum has more than 4 tfs. units of storage: collections of natural scientific materials, archaeological, ethnographic, works of IZO, clothing, photo and documentary funds on the history of the district.
